Mr V M Alexander is the managing director of Al Shabia Group of Companies that specialises in various engineering works. With over two decades of experience, the company provides complete solutions for all engineering requirements. A mechanical engineer by profession, he is passionate about football and photography.
In 1974 Mr Alexander started his career as workshop manager in Emirates Marine Services. He joined Al Shabia Group in 1986. The company provides services ranging from designing, manufacturing and installation of pressure vessels, process piping, modular section fabrication that includes procurement and project management. The company has four branches in Dubai with more than 800 staff.
The highly dedicated team of skilled engineers and trained technicians act as the backbone of Al habia. The company provides services for every engineering requirements in the fields of engineering, marine and energy. It is capable of designing, building and testing U-Stamped pressure vessels. The state-of-the-art facilities in Emirates Industrial City, Jabel Ali and Hamriya Freezone are used to design and build structural assemblies. Al Shabia Group is also specialised in building vessel blocks. Also, the company installs the projects onshore anfd off shore.
Mr Alexander belongs to Ellala House, Kurachy in Kottayam. He is married to Mrs Annama Alex, ex-nurse in Al Qasmi Hospital. The couple have two children, Mr Anoop Mathew, a computer engineer now doing business in Kerala, and Mr Anish Thomas, project engineer in Al Shabia.
