Manikandan Meloth was born in Nileshwar, in Kasaragod district as the son of the late Kunjambu Nair, an agriculturist, and Lakshmikutty Amma. After graduation, he started his career as a sales executive and he came to the UAE in 1996. After working for a few years as a senior level executive in a reputed organization, he started his own business in the year 2003.

Manikandan Meloth is married to Mini, director of another company named KAPCO TEC. The couple is blessed with two children- Madhav, a Tenth standard student, and Malavika, studying BBA+LLB at Symbiosis University, in Pune. During free time, Mani enjoys football, kabbadi and singing.
