Savad Yusuf, specialized in Marketing, Sales and Event Co-ordination is working as Sales Manager in the National Industrial Gases Department. Earlier, he has worked with Survey & Planning Department and License Department of Government of Sharjah, as well as with the port of Fujairah as Shipping and Radio Officer for two years.
He is a good actor and has proved his inborn talent through his role in the Malayalam movie – ‘Butterflies’.
Being a lover and activist in the field of art and culture, Mr.Savad Yusuf has Co-ordinated the presentation of 14 stage shows, starting with Mylanji. He played a prominent role in the conduct of the Muthukad Reality Show (Magic in Arabia Show). Other shows that he has co-ordinated include the Star Singer Show-2007, Ishar Malhar Show (sponsored by Confident Group), Eid Ishan, Marhaba (sponsored by East Coast Vijayan), Ponnona Pulari (Onam Show), Nila Mazha held in June 2013 and Ishal Nilavu.
His participation in the Global Meet of OICS (Overseas Indian Cultural Congress) is clear proof of his interest in Socio – Cultural Organizations and its activities in the UAE.
He is Cultural Secretary of OICS for 2 years and is a Member of the World Malayali Council. He has also held responsible positions like Vice-President, Overseas Indian Cultural Congress (OICS), Fujairah and was an Executive Committee Member of Kala – Indian Social Club.
Hailing from Anchal in Kollam District, he belongs to Suhail Niwas and is born to Yusuf, a High School Teacher and Suhra Nabeesath Beevi a house wife. He lives with his wife Shyla and the two children Zayed and daughter Fathima studying in KG-2.
