Vijaya Mohan set up the company, initially named as Al Nazer Electricals, in 1981 along with his brothers and today he is leading a highly motivated and diligent workforce of Al Baz through the path of success.

Vijaya Mohan, hailing from Mannar, is the son of the late Divakaran and the late Kamalakshi. His schooling was at NSS High School, Mannar, after which he pursued an ITI diploma in Air Conditioning. He started his career with New Alenberry and then moved on to Naser Al Sayer company as a salesperson in 1977. He entered into business by starting a partnership firm from where he gained ample experience and expertise to launch his own company.
Vijaya Mohan is married to Sheeja, a home maker, and the couple is blessed with two sons and one daughter. Their eldest son Arun is a businessman and younger son Jakan Vijay is a fifth standard student. Their daughter Jyothi Vijay, along with her husband, runs the Sree Narayana Institute of Technology in Adoor, which offers BTech, MTech and MBA courses.
