Madathil Oravil Sunil Kumar, hailing from Lakkidi, near Ottapalam in Palakkad district, is the Co-founder and CEO of Headstart FZ LLC. The company was founded by Sunil Kumar along with Premchand Kurup in 2002. With Dh 7 Million turnover, the company serves as a boutique solution provider in the MEA/APAC region serving the retail and hospitality industries. It offers a portfolio of products and services that enables the clients to derive maximum benefits by utilizing state-of-art technology.

Sunil Kumar, who holds a postgraduate diploma in Computer Application, was born to Sanjayan, a Unilever employee, and Saraswathy Madathil Oravil. He completed his schooling and college education at Coimbatore. He started his career as a trainer at Universal Group of Institution, Thiruvananthapuram. Then he moved to Muscat and worked in Capital Commercial Centre, Prisunic as EDP In-charge. Migrated to UAE – Dubai in 1998 and joined Al Aqili Information Systems as Business Development Manager for IT Solutions. He Co-founded Headstart along with Premchand in 2002.
Sunil Kumar is married to Asha Sunil, a CAD Designer at Paramount Tech. The couple is blessed with a daughter, Anamika Sunil, a graduation student in Middlesex University.
