Having already tasted success in the UAE with several other companies, he was keen to create a UAE-¬based brand that had the potential to go global. He then identified the need for fully Halal-compliant QRSs that serve great tasting food in inviting environments. Mansoor was cautioned about competing against global fast food giants, but he remained unwavering in his intent. ‘Start small and do it right,’ was the mantra he began operations with. Chicking was launched, with the selling points of being flavorful, spice infused, non- ¬oily food.

Mansoor A K is a native of Pavaratty in Thrissur district; he was born as the son of Madam Pathukutty and the late Chathuntakayil A V Ahammed Kutty. He is married to Ms Sheeba, a homemaker. The couple is blessed with three children son Ahmed Mirzab, a BBA student in Dubai, and daughters Mazbooba, a 9th standard student, and Marwah, a 1st standard
