Mr. Babu Lonappan, leading International business man with business presence in Europe, USA, India and Gulf regions, is an Indian National hailing from Kerala and is presently settled in Dubai.Born on 27th January, 1961 in an aristocratic family, Mr. Babu did his matriculation in Kerala and Technical Higher Education from Mumbai. A man from humble beginnings, he started his overseas Technical Career in 1981 with KEMCO group Doha, Qatar. With solid 16 years of international experience, both in technical and marketing side, in 1996, he started his own business in Dubai under the name of BLASTLINE L.L.C-specialized in surface preparation technology. Now with a total of three subsidiaries viz, EMIRATES BALSTMASTER L.L.C.,Abu Dhabi, AL NOOH TRADING & CONTRACTING L.L.C, Muscat, Oman, and RED WOOD ENGINEERING AND TRADING, Qatar, he is holding a commendable market share in GCC with an annual turnover of over 40 million AED.
Venturing to the Hospitality and Real Estate business, Mr. Babu has an 8 villa project built and ready to accomodate near Cochin International Airport-India and a Hotel and Resort project named Wetzlar Hotels and Resorts Pvt Ltd is nearing completion at Muvattupuzha, Kerala. He also has a medical centre at Al Ain, UAE, called Al Raneen Medical Centre since 2006.
With his presence in industries ranging from Construction, Designing, Fabrication, Foundries, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Real Estate, Financial Services and International Commodities, he has an employee base of over 350 people mainly from India, USA, GCC, Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh and also commands a solid Corporate MNC client base of over 1000 companies across the Globe.
Mrs. Alphonsa Babu, his wife plays a key role in the successful running of more than 10 establishments. They have four children, Miss. Ferrin Babu(3rd year, Electronics and Communication Engineering in BITS, Pilani-Dubai), Miss. Irene Babu(Year 10 in Our Own English High School, Dubai), Miss. Shirleyn Babu(Year 8 in Universal American School, Dubai), Master. Edwin Babu(Year 11 in Deira International School, Dubai)
