K. Muraleedharan, a Post Graduate in Mathematics from Sree Narayana College, Kollam with a B Ed. from Mount Tabor Training College, Pathanapuram, and specialized in Insurance is presently working as Development Officer of Life Insurance Corporation (International) B.S.C © in Dubai. He has been working with LIC (International) in UAE since 2003 and holding an Award Certificate for Financial Planning from Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), London, U.K.
Before coming to Dubai, to take up the present assignment, he has worked for 12 years with LIC of India, Kottarakkara Branch. He has also worked in the Educational arena for a few years. He started his teaching career at Academy of English & Mathematics, Valakom. Later, he worked as a Lecturer for one year at Govt.VHSE, Karakulam, Trivandrum District, and then at Govt. VHSE, West Kallada, Kollam District for one year and finally at Govt. VHSE Kalpakamcheri, Malappuram District for one year.
He has been an achiever in the LIC since 1993, when he achieved the target of policies worth Rs.One crore in one year. He continued to be a crore pathi consultant for the next 6 years more.
The LIC International has started its operations in UAE, through its Chief Agent Kingstar Insurance Agencies LLC, following persistent demands from a large section of NRI’s in Dubai, for Marketing of its products in 2000.

LIC too has facilities for the Servicing of the Policies in UAE itself. There is also provision for the transfer of the Policies taken in UAE to the branches in India. It also provides for the payment in Indian Currency. There is also a Housing Finance section of LIC, functioning in Dubai, and its customers can avail Housing loans to build or renovate their homes in Kerala.
He has become an achiever in 2006, by collecting the Maximum Premium from the GCC countries for LIC International. In 2009, he has become an achiever by collecting US $ One Million in a single premium for LIC International and the credit for introducing such a scheme also goes to K. Muraleedharan. In 2012, the amount of premium collected rose to Rs. 5.7 Million and this is the top premium collected by a Consultant in the entire GCC. He is a member of Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the premier Association of Financial Professionals, for the last 4 consecutive years.
K.Muraleedharan is also very active with social organizations and is the Vice-President of Anchal St. Johns College Alumni Association.
Hailing from Valakom near Kottarakkara in Kollam District, he belongs to the Thazhe Puthen veedu family. He is born to late K.Kuttan and Pankajakshiamma.
Muraleedharan is married to Jeejarani, who holds a Degree in Science with a B Ed and the couple has two children, the elder one is a boy Sriram Murali, studying in the 8th Standard at Our Own Indian School, Dubai, and the younger one is a baby girl Shivani Murali who is just 2 years of age.
