T.V Rajan,is the most eminent NRI business man in Dubai and the founder of Al Amani T.V.R Group of Companies. Rajan was a vicious attitude boy in his school life, his formal education which he had to terminate at the primary level itself. So he abscond from Mezhuveli village, kerala to Bombay, 50 years back in his 12 years and now he is the one of successful man. His aim was reached his Uncles home at Bombay, but he didn’t know the uncles address. He reached in Mumbai, after a long journey and he was too tired. He has no money for bus charge, on that time railway porters helped him. At last he reached his uncles home and he started his work in an automobile workshop. This was the starting point of Rajan’s career, and he learned a lot of lessons, which is not in any school syllabus, the real lessons of life.The most fertile episode of his life cycles started when he decided to step into a small boat supposed to reach Dubai. In 1974 he reached in Dubai – today termed as one of the most Glorious cities in the world, through the port of Muscat from Mumbai with help of Raju sir. The Dubai then was full of barren sands, even an air conditioner was luxury and reachable to only the privileged, while the sun was scorching at 55 degrees. He started his career as a mechanic in one of the Automobile showroom, with 500/- dirham salary, the lessons he learnt back in Bombay was his only strength and support there. He remember hardworking days, in that days and also working in the role of taxi driver in free time for an Arabic Women.After some years, Rajan started an auto spare parts shop in Ajman with his relative Achuthan, along with his job. The shop’s rent was 250 dirhams. After four months shop shifted to Al-Mulla Plaza, Dubai, he expand his business and add a new partner Mubaraq, who was the colleague of Rajan’s work place. Rajan’s friend financially helped for this project. But the main problem was trade license. However, the real fortune struck on him in the form of local gentleman Al Lous (UAE National) who has offered him a trade license free of cost for a small favor he did (Rajan helped him to change his car tire, when Rajan’s journey in Dubai). Though the offer of free trade license in hand from national. He suggested a name Al-Amani for shop. In the beginning period of shop Rajan took spare parts from holes shops in Dubai and distributed his customers. When his shop chain increased, Rajan started spare parts importing from Japan and other countries. Al-Amani group’s chain was enlarged in a limited time period. Suddenly raised a problem among the group and finally separate the partners and Rajan got small three shops, that was under Al – Amani Trading. Then he took a loan from a bank without any guarantee and he invested the loan amount in his shop.Firstly he paid employees salary and took some spare parts etc…Then he bring up Al-Amani group and now Al-Amani TVR group one of the Largest Auto Parts establishment in the region for Japanese & Korean after market as well as for Genuine Car Parts. It is originated from Dubai and expanded to the region covering Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. He has employed more than 250 people from his own land. The most acclaimed fact is that he has encouraged and supported many to set up their own business. And Renjini, studied Bcom and now she is the business partner of the group, married to R. Shikkulal who is a B-tech holder and now he is the General Manager of Al-Amani Group, Dubai.
