Dr. Kumar. K.V is the associate professor( dept of Anatomy) of Rasalkhaima Medical and Health University. RAK Medical and Health Sciences University, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), has been established by the Ras Al Khaimah Human Development Foundation (RAK–HDF) under the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member & Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and, Chancellor of the University.
All the programs viz MBBS, BDS, BPharm, BS Nursing and RNBSN have been granted Initial Licensure and Accreditation, by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, UAE. While the RAK College of Medical Science (RAKCOMS) started its programs (MBBS) in 2006, the RAK College of Dental Science (RAKCODS), RAK College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (RAKCOPS), RAK College of Nursing (RAKCONS) started their programs from September 2007. RAKMHSU is the first comprehensive University in the entire UAE.
RAKMHSU has established itself as a reputable University with more than 535 students from 40 different nationalities, and 81 full-time faculty and 66 Adjunct Clinical faculty supported by 65 Non-teaching staff from 22 countries. RAKMHSU is taking all the steps to deliver quality Healthcare Education thereby, striving hard to produce Graduates who are competitive as well as compassionate.
Dr. Kumar. K.V worked as Assistant Professor, Kasturba medical college; as Lecturer, Gulf Medical College, Ajman(U.A.E) and Associate professor, Kolencherry Medical College. But since 2006, he continued as the Associate Professor of Rasalkhaima Medical and Health University.
Being a Doctor(M.B.B.S, MD), Dr. Kumar. K.V belongs to Matoor Bhavan(MRA-B19) at Ambalamukku in Thiruvananthapuram. Now settled at Rasalkhaima with his wife, Dr. Anjana Shankar. They are happy having one child, Ananthapadmanabhan, who is 13 years old.
